Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Riviere moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Boy gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Boy drops down looking for an ankle pick but Riviere pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jean Riviere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Boy.

Boy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Riviere stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Riviere turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
