Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takhti looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Takhti throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Eggert was covering up waiting for the punch and Takhti finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Takhti is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Eggert is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Eggert has escaped and now he's on top!

Eggert gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Eggert misses with a two punch combination.
Takhti tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Eggert tries to bum rush Takhti with a series of wild strikes but Takhti uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Takhti drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Eggert defends it well.

Eggert is looking to counter punch.
Takhti has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Takhti closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Eggert to the mat! Eggert manages to get full guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Takhti drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Eggert dives on top into guard.

Eggert has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
