The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGirt looks to land a right hand but Savedra moved out of range.
McGirt throws a nice looking combination but Savedra bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
McGirt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Savedra counters with a straight right hand.
McGirt swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McGirt has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
No joy there for McGirt, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
McGirt blocks a leg kick.
Savedra takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McGirt scores with a hook to the body. Savedra takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McGirt throws a right hand that misses
and Savedra counters with a nice body shot.
Savedra lands with a hook. McGirt tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Savedra pushes McGirt back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch.
Savedra tried to land a shot to the body but connects with McGirt's elbow.

Savedra definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Savedra tried to counter with a leg kick but McGirt avoided it.

Savedra catches McGirt napping and connects with a fantastic 3 punch combination that sends McGirt crashing to the mat!
