Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Riessig Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kobay Gary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slade's entrance music is Scarface - My Mind was Playing Tricks on Me. A fine choice. Riessig Slade had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Riessig Slade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gary on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gary fails with a takedown attempt.
Gary shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Slade but Slade pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gary avoids the body shot from Slade.
Horrible takedown by Gary or perhaps it was just good defense by Slade which made him look bad.
Riessig Slade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kobay Gary.
Gary tries to clinch but Slade is having none of it.
Slade circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from Slade finds it's way through Gary's defenses.
Gary is looking to clinch.
Kobay Gary seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slade lands a glancing blow to the side of Gary's head.
Gary will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gary will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Gary looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Slade lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Gary lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Gary wants to clinch up but Slade keeps it at a distance.
Gary walks into a stiff left hand from Slade.
Gary shoots in and drives through. Slade sprawls well.
Gary looks gassed!
Slade fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gary looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Slade explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Slade scores with a jab to the jaw.
Gary on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Slade scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Gary doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gary takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Horrible takedown by Gary or perhaps it was just good defense by Slade which made him look bad.
Gary ducks right into an uppercut from Slade.
Gary wants to clinch up but Slade keeps it at a distance.
Riessig Slade is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gary will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Gary throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slade's waist but Slade gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gary off to one side.
Gary throws a leg kick
and Slade counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gary tries for a takedown but Slade circles away easily
and Slade cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jab, jab by Slade - just one landing.
Gary fails with the takedown
and Gary takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Gary moves forwards but Slade connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gary tries to clinch but Slade moves away
letting Slade counter with a right hand.
Gary is rocked!
Gary moves out of range of the strikes.
Slade lands a really nice looking cross but Gary seems unphased.
Gary is still on wobbly legs! Can Slade finish him?
Nice shot by Slade.
Gary is trying desperately to land a takedown but Slade is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Gary.
Slade drops Gary with a huge uppercut! Gary drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Slade is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Riessig Slade!
