The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ming jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Ming tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ming misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ming throws the left hand but Thompson avoids the punch easily.
Ming lands a jab to the head.

Ming lands a big head kick that sends Thompson tumbling to the mat! Ming takes a step backwards and waves Thompson back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Thompson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thompson drops his hands momentarily and Ming needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Thompson just on the top of the head. Thompson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Thompson - he's done!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Penny Ming! Penny Ming retains his lightweight title!
