Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giani Muscat (ranked 4570 p4p, 5802 weight class) and Cendrik Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen KB as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans ducks under a wild hook from Muscat.

Evans dives in and scores a takedown into Muscat's guard.
Evans trying to control but Muscat is working from the bottom.
Muscat knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground.

Evans seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muscat pulls Evans in to control the position.

Muscat tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Evans wants to control from the top but Muscat keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Evans accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Muscat enables Evans to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Muscat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Muscat stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Evans swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Muscat has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Evans to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Muscat is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Evans pulls down on the head and he's put Muscat to sleep! This one is all over!
