Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johan Joestar (ranked 555 p4p, 844 weight class) and Joao Cajo Branca (ranked 91 p4p, 134 weight class). Joestar comes to the cage accompanied by Coda - Bloody Stream. Branca has chosen original score medley as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Joestar misses.
Joestar throws a looping overhand right but Branca ducks down to avoid it.

Branca has taken the fight to the clinch.

Joestar manages to break the clinch.
Branca walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Joao Cajo Branca has been cut.
Joestar loads up on a big right hand but Branca slips the punch.
Joestar throws a looping overhand right but Branca ducks down to avoid it.
Branca steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Joestar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Branca drops his hands momentarily and Joestar takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Branca takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Joestar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Branca sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Branca looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Branca takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That has opened up Joao Cajo Branca's cut even more.
Branca slips a straight right by Joestar.
Joestar jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Joestar misses the jab.
Branca slips a jab and a cross from Joestar.
Branca pivots, looking for a leg kick but Joestar is out of range and Branca settles back down.

Joestar seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Joestar misses with an uppercut. Branca saw that one coming.
It seemed like Branca was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Joestar is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Branca misses with a kick to the body.
Joestar takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Joestar lands a big head kick that sends Branca tumbling to the mat! Joestar takes a step backwards and waves Branca back to his feet - he wants the finish!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Branca moves out of range as Joestar strikes.
Joestar just misses with a punch to the body.
Branca appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Joestar throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Branca! But no joy.
Joestar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Branca throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Branca jabs Joestar right on the nose. Joestar blinks but takes it well.
Branca moves out of range of the strikes.
Branca fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Joestar manages to avoid it.
Joestar throws a lazy uppercut
and Branca counters with a good, hard body kick but Joestar shrugs it off.
Joestar is breathing heavily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Branca, as that shot connected.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Branca lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Joestar moves away from the strike by Branca.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Joao Cajo Branca decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
