Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Atticus Finch (ranked 727 p4p, 1221 weight class) and Nou Hematopoye (ranked 81 p4p, 133 weight class). Finch comes to the cage accompanied by Ghetto Bird- Ice Cube. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nou Hematopoye!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hematopoye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Finch waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hematopoye.
Hematopoye misses with a wild body shot.
Hematopoye drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Finch wants to stand up but Hematopoye is controlling him.
Hematopoye trying to control the position from guard on top but Finch is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Finch keeping full guard, as Hematopoye tries to pass.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finch is looking to stand up but Hematopoye isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hematopoye throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Finch wants to get back to his feet but Hematopoye is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Finch rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hematopoye counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Finch has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yellow Lotus Center of Healing and Meditative Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Finch cracks Hematopoye with a right hand to the side of the head.
It looks like Nou Hematopoye has been cut.
Finch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hematopoye manages to avoid it.
Atticus Finch is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Finch misses with a shot to the body
and Hematopoye counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hematopoye scores with a jab to the jaw.
Finch thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hematopoye misses with a jab, cross combination.
Finch misses with an uppercut
and Hematopoye cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Finch lands a nice looking kick to the body. Hematopoye takes a step back to recover.
Finch staying out of range there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Finch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Hematopoye is rocked!
Finch thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hematopoye is still on wobbly legs! Can Finch finish him?
Finch cracks Hematopoye with a hook to the temple - Hematopoye is on wobbly legs here! Finch swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hematopoye falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Finch wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Atticus Finch!
