The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheung Pak throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Putkinen.
Putkinen throws a series of punches but Cheung Pak avoids them all with ease.
Cheung Pak scoring well with a low kick there.
Cheung Pak tries to clinch but Putkinen moves out of range.

Cheung Pak tries to keep at a distance but Putkinen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Cheung Pak misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Putkinen.
Putkinen prevents Cheung Pak from breaking the clinch.
Cheung Pak tries to pull guard but Putkinen won't allow it.

Putkinen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cheung Pak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Putkinen goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Putkinen takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Putkinen scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cheung Pak misses with a low kick as Putkinen jumps back.
Cheung Pak clinches but Putkinen breaks the clinch
and Putkinen counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Cheung Pak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Putkinen is fending him off so far but Cheung Pak persists. Nope, Putkinen circles away and we're back to standing.

and Putkinen counters with a three punch combo that has Cheung Pak backing up. Cheung Pak nods at Putkinen to acknowledge the strikes.

Cheung Pak throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Putkinen's waist but Putkinen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cheung Pak off to one side.

and Putkinen counters with a left and a right that stings Cheung Pak.

Putkinen scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Oh Cheung Pak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Putkinen lands with a right that hurts Cheung Pak. Cheung Pak looks to clinch but Putkinen throws a short knee that drops Cheung Pak. This one is all over!
