Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerald Tobing (ranked 2694 p4p, 3592 weight class) and Jon Christ (ranked 342 p4p, 432 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christ connects with a body shot that sends Tobing's belly button to the back.
Tobing will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Tobing looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Christ throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tobing misses with a double jab
and Christ counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Tobing gets a double leg takedown into Christ's guard.
Christ is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Tobing is controlling him.
Tobing trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Christ can do anything to dispel that myth.
Christ wants to stand up but Tobing is controlling him.
Tobing trying to control but Christ is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Christ is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tobing wants to control from the top but Christ keeps moving.
Christ wants to get back to his feet but Tobing is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tobing wants to pass the guard but Christ is keeping the position.

It looks like Gerald Tobing has been cut.
