Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cole Lake (ranked 5228 p4p, 4690 weight class) and Tristan Garnier (ranked 533 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Cole Lake has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cole Lake seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Lake looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Garnier has hold of Lake's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Lake tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Garnier cranks the arm and Lake screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Lake, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Tristan Garnier!
A relieved looking Tristan Garnier thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
