Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Seok Yi (ranked 3404 p4p, 3185 weight class) and Philip Marcus (ranked 333 p4p, 318 weight class). Yi kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chris Travis - We Up. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Marcus.
Marcus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yi.
Marcus darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Marcus lands a jab to the nose.
Marcus shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Yi checks a low kick from Marcus.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Yi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marcus tries to score with a low kick but Yi moves his leg out of the way.

Yi tries to counter by clinching up but Marcus breaks away and moves out of range.
Yi finds Marcus's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Marcus flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Yi lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Marcus will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Seok Yi!
In his post fight interview, Seok Yi started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
