Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riley Beaudin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis comes to the cage accompanied by Run to the Hills. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ken Curtis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Riley Beaudin!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Curtis lands with an overhand left.
Curtis misses with a two punch combination.
Curtis misses with a jab, cross combination.
Curtis lands with a shot to the body.

Curtis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Curtis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Beaudin counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Curtis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Beaudin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Curtis's guard.
Beaudin is looking to stand up but Curtis won't let him.

Beaudin decides to stand up, so the ref orders Curtis to his feet.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Curtis lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Curtis has hold of Beaudin's hands but Beaudin slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Riley Beaudin dominated that round.
That's time! Curtis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Beaudin throws a nice looking combination but Curtis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Curtis has his foot on Beaudin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Beaudin works his way back into a safe position though.

Curtis had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Beaudin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Curtis Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Beaudin's back instead.

Beaudin might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Curtis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beaudin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Curtis thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

I've got Beaudin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
