Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abu Schaubi (ranked 6202 p4p, 25689 weight class) and Jose Pena (ranked 623 p4p, 688 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Abu Schaubi has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Abu Schaubi seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Abu Schaubi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Pena!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pena keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Pena lands a nice hook to Schaubi's body. Schaubi takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Pena stalks Schaubi and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Schaubi's face. Schaubi staggers backwards, shaken.
Schaubi moves away from the strike by Pena.
Pena lands a lovely overhand right.
Pena gets a clinch.
Schaubi pulls guard effortlessly.
Schaubi not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pena really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Schaubi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Pena has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Schaubi to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pena is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Schaubi pulls down on the head and he's put Pena to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Abu Schaubi!
