Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Kaspersky (ranked 2246 p4p, 2569 weight class) and Nathan Fedorov (ranked 306 p4p, 344 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nikolai Kaspersky!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nathan Fedorov!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaspersky is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fedorov sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Fedorov! But no joy.
Fedorov checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Fedorov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaspersky moves away.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaspersky displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fedorov throws out the jab.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fedorov enables Kaspersky to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fedorov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Fedorov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Kaspersky dives into side control.
