Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anas Kospas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Adam Orel!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Orel misses with a two punch combination.
Orel connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kospas momentarily.
Adam Orel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Orel throws a right and a left that Kospas avoids nicely.
Orel lands a jab to the nose.
Orel swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kospas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Kospas trying to control the position from guard on top but Orel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Orel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Orel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kospas is looking to work some ground and pound but Orel has wrist control.
Orel can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kospas controls the pace.
Orel wants to stand and escape but Kospas is having none of it.
Kospas is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Orel keeping moving, preventing Kospas from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Kospas looks for a takedown but Orel sprawls well.
Orel jabs at Kospas's body.
Kospas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Orel avoids it really well and circles away.
Orel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Orel's coach down at Brloh was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Orel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Orel listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Kospas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Orel has his feet on Kospas's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Orel keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nice body punch from Orel.
Orel lands a jab to the nose.
A decent looking cross lands there for Orel.
Orel getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Kospas has been working on his balance at Alpha Brasil, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Orel.
Orel stalks Kospas and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kospas's face. Kospas staggers backwards, shaken.
Kospas throws a wild hook but Orel just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Kospas gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Orel raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adam Orel!
