Cavalera comes to the cage accompanied by Territory. Victor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Enigma - Hello and welcome. Cassiano Victor has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Victor loads up on a big right hand but Cavalera slips the punch.

Cavalera bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Victor is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cavalera's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Victor wants to stand back up but Cavalera manages to pass into side control.
Victor sneaks back into half guard.
Victor wants to improve his position but Cavalera is controlling well.
Victor pushes Cavalera off looking to stand but Cavalera dives back in and keeps control.
Victor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Victor pushes Cavalera off but Cavalera dives into side control.
Victor pushes Cavalera away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Cavalera gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Victor is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Victor is trying to stand back up but Cavalera is controlling him

Cavalera wants to work for an arm triangle but Victor is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Victor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Victor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cavalera wants to free his trapped foot but Victor is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Victor connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Victor throws out a loose jab but Cavalera uses good head movement to avoid it.
Victor stuffs the takedown attempt from Cavalera. Cavalera gets slowly back to his feet.
Cavalera takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Cavalera shoots for a takedown but Victor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cavalera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Cavalera. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cavalera is breathing heavily.
Victor changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
