Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephen Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Billy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Thiago Cunha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Harper lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Billy has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Billy and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Harper throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Billy's waist but Billy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harper off to one side.
Billy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Harper swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stephen Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Billy wants to clinch.
Harper shoots in looking for a takedown. Billy tries to sprawl out of it but Harper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Billy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harper shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Billy's guard.

Harper seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harper shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harper showed some decent athleticism there.

Harper seems to be looking for submissions.
Billy tries to kick Harper off but Harper keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Harper throwing strikes here but Billy is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Horrible takedown by Harper or perhaps it was just good defense by Billy which made him look bad.

Harper shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Billy is trying to defend but Harper finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Harper connects with a nice short shot to Billy's temple.
Harper is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Billy!

Harper's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
