Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baldur Bergmundsson (ranked 4697 p4p, 5550 weight class) and Mason Island (ranked 0 p4p, 629 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Baldur Bergmundsson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Baldur Bergmundsson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Island decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Island takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Island lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Island gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Island keeps the fight on the outside.
Bergmundsson darts in trying to clinch
and Island counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bergmundsson blocks a head kick by Island.

Island has managed to clinch.

Island is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Bergmundsson is trying to escape and Island transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Bergmundsson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Island! Very nice indeed!
