Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lasse Lamaannuttaja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ruffy Monkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lamaannuttaja gets the takedown into side control.
Lamaannuttaja tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Lamaannuttaja is trying to ground and pound but Monkey uses the momentary lack of control by Lamaannuttaja to regain half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lamaannuttaja shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Monkey as he jumps to the side.

Monkey is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Lamaannuttaja pulls his head out easily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lamaannuttaja isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Monkey stacks Lamaannuttaja on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Monkey!

Monkey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Lamaannuttaja cracks Monkey with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Monkey from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Lamaannuttaja is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Monkey knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Monkey for a finish.

Ruffy Monkey showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Lamaannuttaja's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Lamaannuttaja had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Monkey is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lamaannuttaja Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Monkey's back instead.

Lamaannuttaja is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Monkey defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
