Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Moe Moose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sonnen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Moose looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sonnen lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sonnen connects with a nice short shot to Moose's temple.
Sonnen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Sonnen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Moose knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sonnen lands a nice short elbow.
Moose is rocked!
Sonnen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Moose with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Oh Moose is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
My spies in Milkys Cave inform me that Sonnen has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
Sonnen lands a big elbow - Moose is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sonnen!
