Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bleeding Spanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Haggar!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haggar throws a lazy right hand but Spanner sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Spanner looks to land a combination but Haggar avoids it well.

and Spanner counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Haggar scores with a crisp jab that stopped Spanner in his tracks.

And Haggar tries to counter it with a takedown but Spanner pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Haggar cracks Spanner with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Haggar closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Spanner did well to prevent Haggar getting side control.

Spanner has one foot on Haggar's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

It looks like Bleeding Spanner has been cut.

Haggar connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Spanner's hands.

Spanner sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Haggar to the ground! Spanner dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Mike Haggar has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Haggar working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Spanner tries to buck Haggar off but Haggar is having none of it.
Haggar looks up at the clock and then as Spanner takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Haggar smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That was a close round but I would say that Bleeding Spanner will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Spanner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Haggar lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Spanner quite badly. Spanner pulls Haggar in close trying to recover. Haggar postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Spanner on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Spanner doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Haggar!
Bleeding Spanner was interviewed post fight and said 'That was fucking bullshit!'.
