Farquharson comes to the cage accompanied by Danny Vera - Roller Coaster. Duncan Farquharson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sapo avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sapo shoots in but Farquharson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Farquharson takes a jab right on the kisser.
Sapo fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Farquharson on the side of the head.

Farquharson gets caught napping as Sapo dives in and scores a takedown. Farquharson manages to retain guard.
Sapo wants to control from the top but Farquharson keeps moving.
Farquharson has momentary wrist control but Sapo slips an elbow through the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sapo postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Farquharson is pulling down on Sapo's head. It's preventing any offense from Sapo, at least for the moment.
