Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chew Kok (ranked 891 p4p, 2610 weight class) and Kiso Akinaga (ranked 25 p4p, 92 weight class). Akinaga has chosen The HU - Wolf Totem as his entrance music. Kiso Akinaga will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chew Kok!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kiso Akinaga!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kok lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kok avoids the body shot from Akinaga.
Kok takes one to the chin there.
Akinaga throws out a loose jab but Kok uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kok appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Akinaga swings for the body but Kok moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Kok on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Kok finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Akinaga misses with a hook. Kok ducked under it nicely.
Kok uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Akinaga.
Akinaga has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Kok counters with a nice body kick.
Akinaga on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Kiso Akinaga has been cut.
Akinaga throws out a loose jab but Kok uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kok ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kok has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kiso Akinaga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kok smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kok's corner calls for a 1-2. Kok obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kok lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Akinaga falls backwards - clearly groggy! Kok dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chew Kok!
A very excited looking Chew Kok made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
