Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Edward Smart (ranked 2184 p4p, 2339 weight class) and Agnieszka Ostrowski (ranked 232 p4p, 246 weight class). Smart's entrance music is Heartless. A fine choice. Ostrowski has chosen Mystery Girl- Yeah Yeah Yeahs as his entrance music. Agnieszka Ostrowski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ostrowski's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Smart moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ostrowski has worked his arm free - good work by Ostrowski!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Smart tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Smart has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Smart swings around for an armbar but Ostrowski sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Smart's guard.

Smart is working an open guard so Ostrowski takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

and Smart counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Smart is pushing down on Ostrowski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ostrowski is fighting to maintain full guard but Smart has managed to sneak the leg through.

Smart thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
