Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ezekiel Broomsdale (ranked 1877 p4p, 2982 weight class) and Olle Tandberg (ranked 271 p4p, 397 weight class). Broomsdale comes to the cage accompanied by Masta. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tandberg misses with a body shot
and Broomsdale cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Olle Tandberg has been cut.
Broomsdale uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tandberg.
Broomsdale takes one to the side of the head.
Tandberg moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tandberg avoids the body shot from Broomsdale.
Tandberg swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Broomsdale counters with a big head kick but Tandberg shrugs it off.
Broomsdale throws a body kick that misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Tandberg.
Broomsdale connects with a high kick.

Tandberg rushes Broomsdale and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Broomsdale stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Broomsdale creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Broomsdale tries to score a body lock takedown but Tandberg shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Tandberg is trying to maintain a safe position but Broomsdale gets an underhook and turns Tandberg into the cage.
Tandberg gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Broomsdale.

Broomsdale has picked Tandberg up - he's going for a ride! Broomsdale dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Tandberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Broomsdale. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Broomsdale uses his free foot to push down on Tandberg's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Tandberg.

Broomsdale takes Tandberg's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Tandberg is in trouble.

Broomsdale is cranking Tandberg's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tandberg! He's tightened the choke and Tandberg is tapping out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ezekiel Broomsdale!
A relieved looking Ezekiel Broomsdale thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
