Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Miles O Brien (ranked 3362 p4p, 6679 weight class) and Sebastian Bach (ranked 365 p4p, 558 weight class). Miles O Brien is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miles O Brien!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Sebastian Bach!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Brien doesn't manage to clinch there - Bach circles away.

O Brien darts in and clinches Bach up against the cage.
Bach blocking some punches.
Bach blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Bach blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Bach works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bach accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bach's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
O Brien wants to sweep here but Bach controlling him for the moment.
Bach is looking to work some ground and pound but O Brien has wrist control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
O Brien avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Bach landing some decent shots from guard.
O Brien trying to keep a closed guard but Bach is proving a slippery customer.
Bach postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
O Brien wants to stand and escape but Bach is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Bach drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but O Brien manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bach has O Brien in his guard.

Bach is controlling O Brien's posture.

Bach has his foot on O Brien's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. O Brien works his way back into a safe position though.

O Brien got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bach has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, O Brien has managed to get both his arms back between Bach's legs - danger averted.

Bach is looking for a triangle but O Brien pushes his legs off easily.
O Brien stays in close to Bach's body and controls the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bach is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. O Brien is aware though and is defending well.

Bach looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
O Brien trying to stand up but can't free himself from Bach's guard.
Bach has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bach is trying to control the position from the bottom.
O Brien stopping the sweep attempt from Bach.

Bach is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and O Brien defends well.

Bach is looking for a triangle but O Brien pushes his legs off easily.

Bach looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bach escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Brien gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bach working for a triangle but O Brien defends it easily.

Bach is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
O Brien has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bach is proving hard to escape from.

Bach has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but O Brien can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
O Brien slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

O Brien instigates a clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Bach.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bach breaks the clinch.
Bach tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but O Brien swivels and escapes.
O Brien connects with a nice looking jab.

It looks like Sebastian Bach has been cut.
O Brien misses with a right hand

and Bach counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Bach trying to control the position from guard on top but O Brien is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Sebastian Bach will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Sebastian Bach's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Bach chopping away at his opponent's legs.

O Brien shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Bach tries to get to full guard but O Brien has control of the leg.
O Brien takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
O Brien throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bach looking for submissions off his back.

Bach actively working from the bottom here.

Bach works his way to full guard. Good work.

Bach working for a triangle but O Brien defends it easily.
Bach is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
O Brien controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Bach working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. O Brien doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. O Brien manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
O Brien is looking to stand up but Bach won't let him.

Bach had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. O Brien defends it easily.

Bach is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. O Brien is aware though and is defending well.
We've been hearing that O Brien has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
O Brien postures up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bach wants to sweep here but O Brien controlling him for the moment.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Miles O Brien is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
O Brien fails with an attempt to clinch.
The fighters circle momentarily. O Brien darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
O Brien fails in his attempt to clinch.
O Brien lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bach at a distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Bach.
The fighters circling - O Brien throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
O Brien cracks Bach with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Bach is rocked!
O Brien connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Bach out cold! This one is over in a flash!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Miles O Brien!
