Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin McGuire (ranked 878 p4p, 531 weight class) and Husein Magomaevaboff (ranked 42 p4p, 28 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Johnny Cash - God's Gonna Cut You Down. Magomaevaboff has chosen Shaolin of Dagestan as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomaevaboff's corner calls for a 1-2. Magomaevaboff obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

It looks like Kevin McGuire has been cut.
Magomaevaboff fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGuire manages to avoid it.

Magomaevaboff has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Oh, that's a big right hand from McGuire and Magomaevaboff goes tumbling to the canvas! McGuire follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Magomaevaboff ducks under a wild hook from McGuire.
Magomaevaboff feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McGuires jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Magomaevaboff misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Magomaevaboff crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McGuire - the referee stops the clock and Magomaevaboff gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McGuire. Magomaevaboff manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

McGuire lands a leg kick that knocks Magomaevaboff off balance momentarily.
Magomaevaboff slips a jab and a cross from McGuire.

and Magomaevaboff counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Magomaevaboff feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McGuire sprawling to the canvas! McGuire rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Magomaevaboff finish him?!

McGuire is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
