Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cory McCoy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Inuyasha Fujita!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCoy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fujita defends well and McCoy ends up having to push Fujita into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Fujita turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Fujita manages to end up in side control.

Fujita looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
McCoy is looking to regain half guard here but Fujita keeps moving and retains side control.
McCoy gets back to half guard.
McCoy regains full guard. Nicely done.
Fujita wants to pass the guard but McCoy is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCoy trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Fujita wants to control from the top but McCoy keeps moving.
Fujita really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McCoy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
McCoy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McCoy keeping moving, preventing Fujita from controlling successfully.

McCoy is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fujita defends well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCoy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fujita is one step ahead there.
McCoy is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

McCoy looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fujita with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
McCoy working over Fujita with some ground and pound. Fujita looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
McCoy is trying to control. Fujita wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Fujita is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fujita is not content to let McCoy control the position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McCoy is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Fujita trying to control but McCoy postures up.
McCoy is looking to take a break and control but Fujita is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McCoy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fujita wants to get back to full guard.
McCoy lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
McCoy slips a nice elbow through Fujita's hands, connecting with Fujita's forehead.

McCoy works his way into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
McCoy postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Fujita out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! McCoy goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
