The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faulk takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fairtex thows a body kick. Faulk tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Fairtex fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Faulk.
Faulk moves in looking to clinch but Fairtex pushes him off.
A jab lands there for Faulk.

Fairtex is rocked!

It looks like Johnny Fairtex has been cut.
Fairtex keeps Faulk at a distance using the push kick.
Oh Fairtex is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fairtex throws a head kick that Faulk semi-blocks.
A swing and a miss from Faulk.
Fairtex seems to have got his legs back now.
Fairtex throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fairtex keeps the fight on the outside.
Fairtex comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Faulk misses with a kick to the body
and Fairtex counters with a flying knee that drops Faulk! Faulk dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
