Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Drew Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams comes to the cage accompanied by Empire State of Mind-Jay-Z. Silva comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kennedy - Le Code de la Rue kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joseph Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Williams is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.
Williams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away.
Silva lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Silva is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well Silva has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
