Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Scooby Doo!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Markus Mattila has been cut.
Doo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Scooby Doo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mattila doesn't manage to clinch there - Doo circles away.
Doo drives through and clinches with Mattila against the cage.
Doo tries to pull guard but Mattila holds him up against the cage and eventually Doo drops back down to his feet.

Mattila has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Doo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Doo goes for a takedown attempt but Mattila pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Doo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Doo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mattila manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Doo has Mattila in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mattila would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Doo wants to improve his position but instead Mattila has moved into half guard.
Doo throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Doo is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Doo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Mattila postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Doo to stand up.
Doo swats away the attempt to clinch by Mattila.
Mattila doesn't manage to clinch there - Doo circles away.
Mattila fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mattila tries to close the distance and clinch but Doo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Doo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mattila - the referee stops the clock and Doo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mattila. Doo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Doo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Doo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Mattila tries to clinch there but Doo circles away.
Mattila is breathing heavily.
Doo closes the distance and pushes Mattila back into the cage.
Mattila has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Doo is trying to keep an underhook but Mattila manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Doo pushes Mattila off and gets back to his feet.
Mattila avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mattila is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Doo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Doo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mattila tries to clinch but Doo moves out of range.
Mattila moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Doo throws a nice looking combination but Mattila bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Doo swats away the attempt to clinch by Mattila.
Mattila shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Doo as he jumps to the side.
Mattila gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Doo has Mattila pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mattila manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Doo has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mattila is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Mattila has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Doo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Mattila just misses with a elbow thrown towards Doo's brow.

Doo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mattila pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Mattila unloads a knee to the mid-section. Doo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Doo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Mattila has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Doo goes for a takedown attempt but Mattila pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mattila throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Mattila feints and then cracks Doo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Doo down.
Mattila is looking to clinch but Doo is avoiding it.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Mattila shoots in but Doo avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Mattila is trying to get back to his feet.

Doo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Doo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mattila some visible discomfort.
Doo works to advance to full mount. Mattila defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Scooby Doo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
