PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Obi Ojo (ranked 478 p4p, 3697 weight class) and Kiase Quama (ranked 82 p4p, 461 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quama with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ojo to score with a decent uppercut.
Ojo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quama moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quama ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ojo moves away.
Ojo seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

It looks like Kiase Quama has been cut.

Ojo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Quama sprawling to the canvas! Quama rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ojo finish him?!

A little jabbing left from Quama on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ojo, as that shot connected.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ojo cracks Quama with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Ojo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Quama to stand back up!
