PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Blazej Byczkiewicz (ranked 370 p4p, 111 weight class) and Jeremy Jones (ranked 58 p4p, 19 weight class). Byczkiewicz's entrance music is The Analogs - Szczecin. A fine choice. Jeremy Jones told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a front kick that sends Byczkiewicz stumbling back into the cage.
Byczkiewicz throws a big shot that misses.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Byczkiewicz.
Jones throws a push kick but Byczkiewicz slaps the foot to one side.
Byczkiewicz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jones to score with a decent uppercut.

Byczkiewicz throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jones has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Byczkiewicz is aggressively charging in as Jones backs up avoiding any damage. Jones tosses out a jab and Byczkiewicz runs right into it face first! Byczkiewicz is out cold! Jones dropped down on all fours and is barking in Byczkiewicz's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

A very excited looking Jeremy Jones rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
Blazej Byczkiewicz spoke after the fight, saying 'I'm trying to bring danger back in to MMA & there are no limits & no laws & I break down every barrier put in front of me till the day I die'.
