Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Bird (ranked 545 p4p, 702 weight class) and Korben Dallas (ranked 75 p4p, 103 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Bird!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Korben Dallas!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Topper Green and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bird lands with a straight right. Dallas didn't see that one coming.
Dallas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bird on the side of the head.
Dallas fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bird avoids it really well and circles away.
Bird is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Dallas.

Bird gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bird tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dallas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bird is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Zero Tolerance, so we'll see if he gets out of it.

Bird might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dallas seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

That's time! Bird's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Well Dallas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
