Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Corleone Jr. (ranked 2022 p4p, 1897 weight class) and Panda Four (ranked 261 p4p, 244 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Four shoots in but Corleone Jr. avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Four tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Corleone Jr. manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Four avoids the body shot from Corleone Jr..

Four moves into the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Corleone Jr. breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Four shoots in for a takedown but Corleone Jr. shows good takedown defense.

Four shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Four showed some decent athleticism there.
Corleone Jr. tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Four manages to move to mount!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Four is working for a guillotine from mount but Corleone Jr. frees his head quite easily.

Four is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Corleone Jr. has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Corleone Jr.!

That was a close round but I would say that Sonny Corleone Jr. will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Four defending well as Corleone Jr. loads up on a big left hand.
Four tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Corleone Jr. paws at him with a jab and circles away.
It looked like Corleone Jr. was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Four gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Corleone Jr. counters with an inside leg kick.
Corleone Jr. lands a jab to the nose.

It looks like Panda Four has been cut.
Corleone Jr. misses with a straight right.
Four uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Corleone Jr..
Corleone Jr. displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Four.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Four stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Corleone Jr..

Four closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Corleone Jr.'s guard.

Four stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corleone Jr. swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Corleone Jr. tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Panda Four has got the better of the ground game so far.
Corleone Jr. has Four pulled in close to control his posture.

Four drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Corleone Jr. dives on top into guard.

Corleone Jr. is sitting in close to Four's body. Four has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Corleone Jr. is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Corleone Jr. is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Four.
