The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manchester misses with a head kick.
Chai lands with a straight right. Manchester didn't see that one coming.
Chai lands a nice shot that snaps Manchester's head back.
Manchester wants to clinch up but Chai keeps it at a distance.
Manchester tries for a takedown but Chai circles away easily
and Chai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chai darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Manchester misses with a shot to the body
and Chai counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Manchester shoots in but Chai avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Manchester throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Manchester tries to clinch but Chai is having none of it.
It looked like Chai wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

and Chai counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Chai swats away the attempt to clinch by Manchester.
Manchester swings widly with a right hand
and Chai makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Baron Karu Chai has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Manchester.
Manchester shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chai but Chai pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chai lands with an uppercut that bounces Manchester off the ropes and back into range.

Chai was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chai shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Manchester eats them both and turns towards Chai to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Michael Manchester has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Chai jabs Manchester right on the nose. Manchester blinks but takes it well.
Manchester is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him?
Manchester throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chai's waist but Chai gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Manchester off to one side.

and Chai counters with a series of strikes. Manchester will be more careful next time no doubt.
Chai is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Chai connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Manchester's hands.

and Chai scores with a counter punch that sends Manchester to the canvas! Chai smells blood - he's punishing Manchester with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Manchester has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
