Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between carlos Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Mouse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mouse is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Die MF Die. Micky Mouse told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escudero shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mouse pinned against the cage. Mouse gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Mouse fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Escudero looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Mouse wants to control from the top but Escudero keeps moving.

Mouse stands up from Escudero 's guard - Mouse perhaps looking for a knockout.

Mouse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mouse wants to work for an arm triangle but Escudero is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Mouse is taking a breather. Escudero says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Mouse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
