Coryatt comes to the cage accompanied by Slim Thug - Welcome 2 Houston. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Morales!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coryatt misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morales with a lazy takedown attempt
and Coryatt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Coryatt. Morales does a little dance to reset his feet.
Coryatt stuffs the takedown.
Coryatt looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Coryatt sizes up Morales with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

It looks like Ricardo Morales has been cut.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Coryatt lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morales has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morales and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

A nice leg kick from Coryatt, right into the meat of the thigh.

Morales is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Morales shoots in for a double leg but Coryatt sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Coryatt wants to clinch up but Morales keeps it at a distance.
It seemed like Morales was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

We've been told by Coryatt's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Morales shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coryatt as he jumps to the side.

Morales shoots in but no luck this time.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Morales uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Coryatt.

Morales shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Coryatt throws a right hand that Morales ducks under and follows up with a left that Morales also avoids with ease.
Both fighters circling a little - Coryatt finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Coryatt lands a leg kick that knocks Morales off balance momentarily.

Morales shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Coryatt but Coryatt pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Coryatt tries to bum rush Morales with a series of wild strikes but Morales uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Coryatt swings for the body but Morales moves out of range.
Morales changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Morales fails to land with a series of punches.
Coryatt appears to be looking for a big counter.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morales goes for a takedown in the clinch but Coryatt prevents it.
Morales has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Coryatt after a bit of a struggle.
Morales changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Coryatt fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Morales counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Morales chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Coryatt can pounce on him.

Chris Coryatt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Coryatt counters with a right hand to the body.

Coryatt rushes Morales with punches - Morales moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Morales goes down! Coryatt follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
