Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Olivier Aphone (ranked 5956 p4p, 4977 weight class) and Shannon Hoon (ranked 588 p4p, 522 weight class). Aphone comes to the cage accompanied by Enjoy the silence. Olivier Aphone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aphone lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Hoon is looking to control Aphone's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hoon avoid being mounted?

Aphone is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hoon can do to turn this around?

Aphone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hoon is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hoon and Aphone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
