PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hiruki Nakeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and jin fooshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiruki Nakeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, jin fooshi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for fooshi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
fooshi throws a right and a left that both miss.

Nakeda closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
fooshi sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Nakeda blocks the strikes from fooshi.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nakeda perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Nakeda is working for a kimura but fooshi is defending it quite comfortably.

Nakeda decides to return to a standing position.

Nakeda shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in fooshi's guard.
Nakeda advances position into side control!
fooshi is looking to reverse the position.
fooshi looks gassed!

Nakeda has hold of fooshi's arm. He's looking for a kimura. fooshi seems comfortable defending it but Nakeda has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! fooshi is real pain and he's forced to tap out! fooshi is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Nakeda couldn't care less - he's delighted!
