Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ghost Chai (ranked 5268 p4p, 4568 weight class) and Wilt Madison (ranked 563 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Madison moves into the clinch.
Chai is trying to force a seperation but Madison has the dominant position.
Madison blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Madison is trying to pull guard but Chai has him pressed against the cage.

Madison working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chai doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chai manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Chai tries to circle away but Madison has him pinned against the cage.

Horrible takedown attempt by Madison or perhaps it was just good defense by Chai, which made it look bad.

Madison shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chai but Chai pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chai is trying to maintain a safe position but Madison gets an underhook and turns Chai into the cage.

Madison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chai after a bit of a struggle.

Madison breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Chai's corner calls for a 1-2. Chai obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Madison walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chai keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A quick step to the side and Chai tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Wilt Madison dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Madison walks into a straight right hand from Chai.
Madison takes one on the button.

and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Madison changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chai tries to avoid it but Madison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chai to the ground. Chai escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Chai makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Madison closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Chai tests Madison's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Madison moves forwards but Chai connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Madison defending well as Chai loads up on a big left hand.
Chai tries to bum rush Madison with a series of wild strikes but Madison uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Madison can't get the takedown.
Chai tries a body shot but Madison blocks it.
Madison is pushing Chai up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Madison is trying to pull guard but Chai turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Madison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chai is aware though and is defending well.
Chai has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Madison has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Chai has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Chai is pressed up against the cage. Madison has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chai down to the mat. Chai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Chai could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Madison gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Chai ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Madison has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Madison tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
