The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henderson shoots and misses
and Murphy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Henderson thinking.
Murphy throws a hook but Henderson avoids it easily.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Henderson is defended easily by Murphy.
Henderson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Murphy tests Henderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Harry Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henderson shoots in for a double leg but Murphy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Liam Murphy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Henderson.
Henderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Murphy defends well and Henderson ends up having to push Murphy into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Henderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Henderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Murphy as he avoids it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Murphy slaps away a takedown attempt from Henderson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Henderson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A little feinted left hand from Murphy on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Murphy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Murphy has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yellow Lotus Center of Healing and Meditative Arts in the buildup to the fight.

Murphy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Henderson.
Henderson shoots in for a double leg but Murphy sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Murphy throws a leg kick that misses.
Murphy misses with a straight left.
Henderson fails with the takedown

Henderson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Murphy fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Henderson ducks right into an uppercut from Murphy.
Murphy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Henderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Murphy tries to avoid it but Henderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Murphy to the ground. Murphy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Murphy misses with a hook. Henderson ducked under it nicely.
Murphy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Henderson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Murphy works the jab nicely.
Murphy is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Murphy connects with a nice looking jab.

Henderson is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Murphy lands a brutal uppercut that launches Henderson off his feet! Henderson tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
