Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Dinapoli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Simon Gustafsson!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gustafsson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Dinapoli throws a shot to the body.

and Gustafsson counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Dinapoli makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Dinapoli.
Gustafsson throws a big elbow that misses.
Dinapoli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gustafsson throws an elbow that misses. Dinapoli uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Gustafsson's guard. Nice move by Dinapoli!
Gustafsson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gustafsson has his foot on Dinapoli's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dinapoli works his way back into a safe position though.
Gustafsson wants to sweep here but Dinapoli controlling him for the moment.

Gustafsson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dinapoli doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dinapoli manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gustafsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Dinapoli defends well.
Gustafsson has an active guard here but Dinapoli has managed to pass into half guard.
Dinapoli seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Dinapoli rolls with it to try and escape but Gustafsson cranks on the arm and Dinapoli is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
