The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Granite Ii takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Granite Ii swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick from Granite lands but Granite Ii takes it in his stride.
Granite fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Granite Ii on the side of the head.

Granite Ii steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Granite.

Please Granite is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
