Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Je Ha Kim (ranked 1541 p4p, 2693 weight class) and Jim Johnathan (ranked 230 p4p, 360 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Je Ha Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jim Johnathan!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnathan shoots in looking for a takedown but Kim manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Johnathan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Johnathan looks for a takedown but Kim sprawls well.
We've been told by Kim's head coaches at Takeda Clan Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jim Johnathan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnathan gets a takedown into half guard.
Johnathan is keen to just control but Kim is a slippery customer.

Kim tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kim managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Johnathan.

Johnathan wants to control but Kim is keeping him busy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Johnathan shoots for a takedown but Kim saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Johnathan shoots for a double leg takedown but Kim sprawls well. He's pushed Johnathan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Je Ha Kim has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Johnathan.

Kim gets caught napping as Johnathan dives in and scores a takedown. Kim manages to retain guard.
Kim is pulling down on Johnathan's head to control his posture.
We've been informed that Johnathan has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Johnathan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Johnathan has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Kim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Johnathan is looking to work some ground and pound but Kim has wrist control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Johnathan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
An attempted straight right counter from Kim misses the target.
Kim is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Johnathan tries to clinch up.

and Kim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Johnathan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kim swivels and escapes.
Johnathan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kim pinned against the cage. Kim gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Johnathan dives in for a single leg takedown but Kim sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Johnathan has a takedown stuffed.
Johnathan tries for a takedown but Kim sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kim misses with a hook. Johnathan ducked under it nicely.
Kim connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Nice sprawl there from Kim as Johnathan shoots in.
Johnathan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kim.
Johnathan tries to clinch up but Kim circles away and keeps his distance.
Kim swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kim tests Johnathan's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnathan shoots in and drives through. Kim sprawls well.
Kim feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnathans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Kim cracks Johnathan on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Johnathan falls backwards against the cage. Kim follows up with more strikes that drop Johnathan to his knees. Kim keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Johnathan! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Je Ha Kim!
Je Ha Kim seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
