The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryti slips under a jab.
Patteri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ryti moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Patteri throws a right and a left that Ryti avoids nicely.
Patteri changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ryti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Ryti takes one to the side of the head.
Patteri throws a one two combo.
It looks like Reijo Ryti has been cut.
Klaus Patteri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Patteri works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Patteri walks into a straight right hand from Ryti.
Ryti takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Ryti throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Patteri throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ryti sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Patteri moves away from the strike by Ryti.
Ryti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ryti misses with a straight left.
Ryti ducks under a wild hook from Patteri.
Nice shot lands for Ryti.
Patteri throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ryti.
Patteri looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Patteri scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ryti in his tracks.

Patteri takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Patteri scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Patteri looks gassed!
Ryti fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A jab-cross combination lands for Ryti and sends Patteri crashing to the mat! Ryti follows him down to the mat - Patteri regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Patteri is rocked!
Ryti postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Patteri to stand up.
Patteri is still on wobbly legs! Can Ryti finish him?
Ryti takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Ryti smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Patteri throws a looping overhand right but Ryti ducks down to avoid it.
Ryti drops Patteri with a naaaaasty hook - Patteri is in real trouble here! Ryti dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reijo Ryti!
