The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett throws a hook but Republic avoids it easily.
Fett misses with a few strikes there.
Republic needs to keep his hands up - Fett had a free shot at his head there.
Nice uppercut there from Fett.
Fett darts in looking for a takedown but Republic gets double underhooks and turns Fett into the cage.
Republic looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Republic working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Republic gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fett.
Republic softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Republic makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Fett tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Republic misses with a hook to the ribs.
Fett drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cassus Fett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Republic lands a right hand that snaps the head of Fett backwards.
Fett tries to score a body lock takedown but Republic shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Fett is trying to drag Republic to the mat but Republic just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Republic has a couple of punches blocked by Fett.

Fett is breathing heavily.
Republic blocks an uppercut.
Republic lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Fett blocks an elbow strike.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Republic.

Republic drops Fett onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Fett is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Republic unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Fett! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Republic is unloading with more strikes now! Fett drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Banana Republic bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
