Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Colin Murphy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Darius Morgandorffer!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgandorffer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Morgandorffer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Murphy pinned against the cage. Murphy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Murphy lands a jab.

It looks like Darius Morgandorffer has been cut.
Murphy thows a left - swing and a miss!
Murphy throws a right hand that misses

so Morgandorffer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Morgandorffer sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Murphy's guard.
Morgandorffer blocks the strikes from Murphy.

Morgandorffer winds up and cracks Murphy with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Murphy is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Morgandorffer is trying to control the action in half guard but Murphy is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Murphy is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Morgandorffer scores with a couple of nice shots.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Morgandorffer blocks Murphy's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Morgandorffer tries to control but Murphy wriggling away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Darius Morgandorffer's cut.
That's time! Murphy's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Murphy scores with a sloppy right hand. Morgandorffer should have avoided that one.
Morgandorffer tries to clinch but Murphy is having none of it.
Murphy works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Morgandorffer walks into a straight right hand from Murphy.
Murphy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Morgandorffer throws a nice inside leg kick.
Morgandorffer shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Morgandorffer is rocked!
Murphy cracks Morgandorffer with a hook to the temple - Morgandorffer is on wobbly legs here! Murphy swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Morgandorffer falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Murphy wins by TKO!
