Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Aljamain Sterling (ranked 1951 p4p, 3655 weight class) and Yasin Lin (ranked 114 p4p, 190 weight class). Sterling's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I Love. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yasin Lin!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lin digs a good hook to Sterling's body.
Lin forces Sterling back against the cage and clinches.
A nice right hand lands inside from Lin.
Lin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sterling.

Lin pushes Sterling back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Lin tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Lin manages to break the clinch.
Sterling looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Sterling tries for a takedown but Lin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aljamain Sterling. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sterling dives in and grabs Lin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lin pushes down on Sterling's head and hops out.
Lin moves into the clinch.
Lin scores with a shoulder strike.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sterling is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Sterling has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Sterling is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Lin has his hands clasped together but Sterling extends and breaks Lin's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Sterling.
